The free SmartLogger app from Wagner Meters works in tandem withtheSmartLogger monitoring device that tracks ambient temperatureandhumidity conditions when flooring professionals are away fromthejob site. The app connects the SmartLogger device through amobiledevice’s Bluetooth® and enables users to transmit and recorddata,and even send reports via email. Applying Bluetooth® LowEnergy(BLE) technology, the app allows flooring professionals touse mostany mobile device for monitoring ambient conditions. TheSmartLoggerapp, downloaded to the user’s Android device, iseasy-to-use: Aftersetting up the SmartLogger monitor at the jobsite, the user givesspecific instructions using the SmartLoggerapp, such as how oftento record the data (e.g., hourly/daily).Once the user inputs theinstructions, they can take off. Uponreturning to the job site oneor more days later, the app can beused for fast, convenient datacollection via Bluetooth®. Bytracking the ambient conditions, theuser gets a good handle onwhen the job site is meeting serviceconditions or if something isamiss. After downloading the data to amobile device, the user canquickly compile temperature and humiditydata into a report thatcan be sent to the general contractor or theclient.
